If you enjoy having a full-blown Linux machine in your pocket, it works very well. All the hardware is supported though you may have to do a bit from the console to get WIFI going.
If you are looking for PDA functionality, stick with the QT-based distros. pdaXrom is really better suited to sub-notebook work, and hacking.
