The feed server :http://212.10.30.205/rc12/Zaurus-7x0-860/feed/ is not responding for a few hours.
Do you have the same problem ?

David.

Too bad. I just got my C3100 and now I can't download the 'kathrin-rc12-akita.zip' anymore because the site is down since yesterday, and even al'mighty Google can't find a mirror for the akita rc12.

Any help? Any mirror? The above mentioned mirror has the feeds, but not the zip for akita.

Bart

Plain vanilla virgin C3100.

Please do! The site is still down.

Maybe on a public/anonymous ftp site?

Thanks,

should show up here

the feeds at spy.org are not model specific, and are missing things, like hostap.
Not that I don't appreciate mirrors, though. In fact, If anyone has the 3100 feed and the latest 7x0-860 feed I'd be happy to mirror them too

My ADSL is (only) 1.5 Mbit/sec download. It took only a few minutes to download the 44MB zip file. Seems pretty good.

I successfully flashed my Z with your file. A strange "cramfs bad magic number" while booting for the first time scrolled by, but that didn't seem to cause any trouble. I will look into that later.
The Z seems to be up and running fine.

Thanks,
Bart

The 3100 model specific feed is going up now. The tarball can be found at anyerlildog2.com/zug (haven't checked it as it is still going up)

Something went wrong (I tried it twice - binary):
gunzip: 31cfeed.tar.gz: invalid compressed data--format violated

file 31cfeed.tar.gz:
31cfeed.tar.gz: gzip compressed data, from Unix, max compression

sorry... new processor, was overheating. it should have gone up by now...
but it hasn't.

I'll get it tomorrow.
Been tech hell here:
thought my wifi wasn't working
then thought it was the router, 'cause it was acting strange (updated the firmware and reset everything)
My isp for the whole state went down while I was redoing the router--the router started acting up just before the whole thing went down

Got that more or less fixed..but could be cable issues (cable modem) been having a hard time getting the file uploaded. (have space at lunarpages)

meanwhile back at my desktop (where the needed repository is stored).... random crashes... (new cpu new vid card) thought it might be power supply.... turned out to be heat (I'm not overclocking or anything) took most of the morning to get that sorted out ( I currently have a case fan suspended above my cpu). All during which I was trying to setup a win2k partition so I could play a game (yeah... win is good for that at least). Interestingly, the same system seems to run about 3-4+ degrees C hotter in Win than in Debian. weird, huh?

So... sorry about the file being only partial, but it's been a bit of a ride for the past 24 hrs. it'll be up tomorrow

Merry Christmas all!

Well, success! I'm pretty sure computers hate us too. They always seem to crash at the most inconveniant moments.

Btw, Wine is not an option for your game(s)?

I only have a 760 -- so I've been selfish and only mirrored things that I would use.
It sure woudl svck if I then purchased a 3100! :-)

If you want something mirrored, just send me an email: scott@spy.org -- put zaurus in the
subject or I might overlook it as spam.

I have plenty of space and bandwith -- just not a lot of time. The mirror is not automated, it's manual.

I also would be happy to mirror. I doubt the badwidth used would make a dent at my office.

any idea when the main server will be up again so I can grab the 6000 stuff and mirror it?
adf
Guildwars with the wife and kid.... Don't think wine would handle it quite yet.

New (fixed) desktop issue-- My "Kombusa pc3500" turns out to be quite good as pc 2700... but not at all adequate as pc 3200--- errors all over the place at 200mhz. wasn't overheating after all (though it now runs a bit cooler than it did smile.gif )

I think I have the 6k stuff around. Will ttry to post tomorrow
DrWowe
adf,

I hope you (or someone) can find and mirror the 6000 feed. I had just downloaded and installed pdaXrom for the first time about an hour before the server went down, so I've never been able to use the right feed. At least most of the corgi packages from spy.org work okay.

Maybe someone with the space and bandwidth can mirror all of mail.pdaxrom.org/rc12 in the future (or whatever the latest is).

BTW does anyone have all the SDKs and build system image? They are also unavailable.
Laze
The server lost its PSU - im working on replacing it - it will most likely happen in the next 48 hours.
trichmon
Laze any chance you can post a tar of the feeds so we can get a mirror or two up?
