That sounds good, and the wifi part is an excellent idea. Having open wireless nearby should probably only eliminate about 1% of restaurant locations in the sf area

OK... so after doing a quick search, I found an actual restaurant that offers free wifi. So we can sit and eat, talk and surf, etc.

We have about 16 members in the SF ZUG, so let's see if we can get a good turn out. If you plan on attending the group meeting, please post a note here. I will be making table reservations, so I want to make sure we have enough space for all. The location is good, easy access via public transportation, easy parking if you're driving, etc.

I'm going to have a big sign at the table saying "geek fest" and a bunch of balloons... just kidding.

If the restaurant has a host/hostess, then just ask for the zaurus group, otherwise just look around for the table with a few zaurus' on it.. I'll at least have my 5500 and 760 with me.

Yes, still the same as I posted above. I've reserved a table of 5, but I can increase that at any point. I better start gathering up my goodies... maybe I'll make a run to Frye's before the meeting.

Well the weather today kinda sucks, but I'm hoping that by later today the thunderstorms and wind will die down, and it will just be rain.

So the question for everyone is... do we:

(a) continue as scheduled and meet at 7pm at Venture Frogs
or
( postpone the meeting until next week (hoping for better weather)

I would vote for keeping the meeting tonight, but I'll leave it up to majority.

For me, Id like to reschedule to next week. Perhaps lets see if the weather improves say by 4pm?, and then reach a final decision. If it persists like now, its very rough out there.

The weather is pretty bad, but I'd still like to meet today. (Not as big a deal for me as it's on my way home!) =)

I would prefer today, since I happen to be in the city today, so that makes it convenient for me.
