Hi, I have sl5600 and have heard that there is a special kernel which disabled
cache bug workaround. My xcale processor doesn't have that bug fortunately.
Will I have speed improvement with the special kernel even if mine doesn't
have that bug? I played divx movie but there's hiccups from time to time.
Thanks,

Yes, you will have a nice speed improvement. Be ‘sure’ you use the ‘v1.3’ from here:
http://www.zaurususergroup.org/UpDownload+...ad-sid-53.phtmlThe ‘other’ versions (on that page) have some problems.

Thank you very much, Greg.
I'll sure try it this weekend.

Question:
Did anyone ever make a Kernel with Clocking enabled, but the Pre-empt patch STILL ENABLED.
The 1.3 Special, on my Z, was buggy. as. shit.
Needless to say, I wen't back to stock. I'd love to get an extra boost, but I cannot deal with haviung to continually reboot. Especially since every time I rboot, I have to uninstall and reinstall the software for my GPRS card (RTM-8000-Enabler_arm.ipk)
Hmm, I should make a feed of all my installed packages. . I've got about 60, in a folder called "Feed" on my SD card. . .
Hmm, if I find a cheap 5500, I'll install one package in particular, known as "apache" hehehe, and host a zaurus feed off a zaurus. XD
