Has someone actually tried?

My concern is that it is USB powered and I understand the usb on the Zaurus doesn't put out much current.

You have to make sure that it has an extra +5V input plug (and a switch "USB/external power) like the one I have! Or else it wont work with your Z!

It shows a max power requirement of 500ma... somebody on another thread (can't remember who but if you search I am sure you will find it) mentioned that the SL-Cxxxx devices have a max output of 200ma so I would suggest no this isn't going to work well with the Zaurus without external power.

yes iamasmith the c3000 can only output 200mA (max) but there are many hubs that have external power. There are a external power for the zaurus (conics.net) that work with it's hubs and do a max output that aprox. 1A (with 4 ports) biggrin.gif
