If you are flashing back to Cacko 1.23 full for C1000, resize it to 32mb, as per the installation instructions. Or 19mb for the lite version.
not the flash rom, i m talking about the 4gb hdd tho, i m not too good with linux, so i donno what i need to go if i decide to go back to use cacko 1.23, i have OZ 220.127.116.11 now.
you will need to repartition your harddisk as it was by default. the harddisk is not actually used but cacko won't boot if its does not find the partitions and dummy files that need to be there.
thanks for the reply, but how do i do that?
Trisoft did a great job for us newbies, read here: http://www.trisoft.de/en_c3100howto.htm
If I recall, although Sharp/Cacko ROM will bitch if certain files are not present on the HD, you can just Ctrl-C and the boot carries-on and is successful. From memory it doesn't check partition sizes, just that certain files/dirs are present. However if you follow the Trisoft guide above then there will be no complaints by Sharp/Cacko.
Hope that helps.
