on my pdaXrom setup, the file systems are mounted about 8-9 times.
The "mount" command lists each fs several times, as well as the file /etc/mtab
What can be the reason?
Can it lead to FS corruption?

Does /etc/fstab have many duplicate entries?
No, only one per file system, and not even all mounted file systems are mentioned there (e.g. /mnt/ide? are missing).
