Just opened for me. It's a bit slow, but all the Cacko images seem to still be there..
The screenshots really slow down this page, but the links to the Cacko images are there in about 20 seconds.

Jon,

thanks for the links. yep, they're the older versions. still hunting for the 1.23 700 series rom.
Jon_J
I'm glad I kept copies of Cacko 1.23 for my C3100 on a backup.
Someone needs to get in touch with maslovsky, since all the files links are broken.
It seems his site is the only source for these ROMs, unless someone else has them on a user site.

bubox, I'm also searching for the Cacko ROM for the 700 for you.
I suggest if you do find the correct ROM, make a copy and burn it to a CD or DVD for safekeeping. smile.gif

EDIT:
Actually, after doing some more searching, I discovered these files are on oesf.org
(http://cacko.oesf.org/downloads/rom/1.23/SL-C700-Qtopia-1.23-1029311005.zip)
The links must have got broken when the site was moved.

Jon,

thanks for your efforts. yes, if i do get ahold of the 1.23 files, i'm going to make some backups, and of course, i'll post here in case someone else needs them.

speculatrix
sorry, guys, the oldest Z version for which I have a cacko1.23 mirror is the 760. I am not sure I ever had the 700 version.

Where can I download cacko rom for C1000?
The offical download link (http://cacko.oesf.org/downloads/rom/1.23/SL-C1000-Qtopia-1.23-1029311005.zip) doesn't work now!

directory?

sorry, I have no magic way of downloading the rom images, they came from the cacko site which we know to have dead links to the files

you should find that the c3100 will work on c3200, apart from the overclocking stuff?

Thanks a lot, I have now Cacko running on my Z. Btw, there was a little
issue when I tried to download the file. From my current location in France
I couldn't access your site (connect, but no response to http-request).
I have another account in Germany, from which I got a connection and
could (though somewhat slowly) download the file.

It was most likely due to my editing the site to include the download link. Everything should be fine now. smile.gif

No, unfortunately not. If I try to connect http://mersenne.homeunix.net
from both accounts at about the same time, one account gets a connection,
the other doesn't. I have no idea what the reason might be, maybe some
bizarre routing or domain filtering issue on the way (dns seems ok).
Jon_J
Thanks mathemajikian, I'm getting a new 3200 in about 48 days.
Any chance of you having Cacko Lite 1.23 for the SL-C3200?

I have lite downloaded. I could hookup my ftp server later today and give you the link. Or I can try to upload it somewhere.

For those who have the same problem, a nice nice person on IRC (#zaurus) just pointed me to:

(EDIT: seems like it was already on the page, don't know how i missed it)
