Your car stand looks really nice but, sadly I live in the car jacking capital of Canada. Having that in my car would just encourage those miscreants to break in.

I got the mini mic in the same shipment from conics. I tried it at a lecture the other night. It worked ok however I couldn't get gpe-soundbite to work right. I7m lloking at cutting my teeth at compiling on KCdClient recording software. Hopefully it works out right.

And I just broke down & ordered the same one from Tiger. I'm calling it a birthday present instead (which is next week)
