what is the largest possible size the diagnostics menu of the SL-C1000 and Sl-X3x00 can handle to restore a NAND backup from? Is there a limit? SD probably 1GB due to the driver issue. But CF?
Thanks daniel

hmm, so let me put it another way: Did anyone do NAND backup/restore options on 2GB or 4GB CF cards? Did it work?
thanks Daniel

it depends on the brand and disk geometry, ie how many physical cylinders vs logical cylinders...

aha... do you know the necessary values? Or I may have to buy and try (and return)...
Thanks Daniel

Pretty sure I have used a 8GB Micro Drive to restore a NAND backup. "Standard" formatting: Fat32, on a sl-c1000 with Cacko 1.23 ROM.
