Hi all. Anybody know how to get a CE-RH1 remote on my c860 working under pdaxrom r121? xev doesn't even see any key stroke events coming from it at all. thks
prolly need to recompile and patch X so it does not ignore those keys...
good luck

Thanks

. Don't you know that users don't like to hear the "here's what to do, now go fix it yourself" kindof answer

I guess I really haveta get into compiling if I want to use my remote, then.
The remote reportedly works on earlier pdaxrom versions (beta1,2,3) & on pdaxii13. Any idea why r121 would have removed those keys?
I'm guessing that you wouldn't recommend setting up a cross compiling environment as apposed to zgcc, right? If I had an extra Z kicking around, I'd go that route, but I wouldn't want to lose mine for the few/many days it would take to recompile X. I notice that in gentoo they have distcc, which is a cross-compiling tool, and there is an arm target already available. I wonder if that would work 'out-fo-the-box'? Anybody have any experience with that setup?
Thanks
