Thanks happy.gif . Don't you know that users don't like to hear the "here's what to do, now go fix it yourself" kindof answer smile.gif I guess I really haveta get into compiling if I want to use my remote, then.

The remote reportedly works on earlier pdaxrom versions (beta1,2,3) & on pdaxii13. Any idea why r121 would have removed those keys?

I'm guessing that you wouldn't recommend setting up a cross compiling environment as apposed to zgcc, right? If I had an extra Z kicking around, I'd go that route, but I wouldn't want to lose mine for the few/many days it would take to recompile X. I notice that in gentoo they have distcc, which is a cross-compiling tool, and there is an arm target already available. I wonder if that would work 'out-fo-the-box'? Anybody have any experience with that setup?

Thanks

Ya, Meanie's a "teach a person how to fish" kinda guy. smile.gif
I don't have any experience with cross-compile stuff, but I know there is someone else who PM'ed me at ty who is trying to do some cross compiling for R121.
If he's reading this maybe you guys can PM.

I find that I'm killing X & running mplayer from a script to avoid the Z suspending on long walks anyway. I don't suppose there's a way I can use the remote outside of X, is there?
