Hello everyone,

The RAID array holding most of our Linux distributions went on the fritz
last night.  We are working on the problem but we *may* be looking at
ordering replacement hardware and waiting for delivery.  We hope to have
the machine back and serving as soon as possible, and apologize for the
trouble.

If you manage a Linux distribution hosted or mirrored on ibiblio, please
disable any rsync scripts, etc. that try to update it until further
notice.

Sorry to hear about that.

How about the source server on pdaxrom.org? Does it have all the required sources?

Since I've already built once I suppose I can do it without the source.

No it doesn't, the source on pdaxrom.org is "a Little" out of date...

I see they are back up. Any idea of when the pdaxrom source will be uploaded to ibiblio?

Cheers,
Jerry

It may not be an automatic process sounds like the distro owners need to request the directory be recreated:

From the readme file on their server:
CODE
We lost nearly 150 distributions when the array storing
them died on the evening of April 9th.  If you own a
 distribution on ibiblio.org, please visit
http://www.ibiblio.org/help to request that your directory
be recreated.  If you have uploaded ISOs to be filed
by our Linux keeper, please do so again.  Sorry.

The source directory is still not up yet. Anyone have an idea of when it'll be uploaded?

Thanks,
