Hey, rickh, how do you feel about the full screen touch-screen keyboard on your N800? I'm considering the N800 now that it has skype, but wondered about text input. I'm a touch typist and the idea intrigues me. I love the clamshell keyboard on my 860, compared to my sl5500.

For an on-screen thumb board, it's not bad and works well for small amounts of text input, but I wouldn't use any kind of on-screen input for anything serious, whether it were a Zaurus, an N800 or any of the UMPCs coming out. For serious input I bought a bluetooth keyboard that works nicely. It folds up to the same size eas the N800 and is pocketable.
Do you have a Nokia store near you? If so, I'd encourage you to walk in and try one out. I had looked at both the 770 and the 800 for months online and it wasn't until I actually had one in my hands and played with it that I was convinced enough to buy one. I'm not at all dissapointed, BTW. It's a good little unit and well worth the price in my opinion.
