I just bought an SL-5500, and I'm trying to figure out if it will be able to use the 4GB microdrive i have lying around. I can't find much about it with google.
Any idea?

Used to use mine with a 1GB IBM Microdrive. Worked Fine, though ate the battery life.

Thanks. I'm only planning to use it for large files, I got a few small CF cards for general use.

Used to watch Vids from it for which it worked well. Used SD for normal stuff though.

Yes the at least suported 2G SD is very useful without sacrifize the CF slot with any other storage card. In this way you still can do Ethernet or Wifi. Greets.
