You might want to try going to one of the
TFUG (Tucson Free UNIX Group) get togethers. Maybe joining their mailing list and asking if anyone has a SL-C3x00 or clamshell Zaurus that you could see at the next meeting or something. TFUG was a pretty nice group back in the late nineties when I was living in Tucson.
