Full Version: Problem To Install In My Sl C3000
OESF Portables Forum > Everything Else > Archived Forums > Distros, Development, and Model Specific Forums > Zaurus Distro Support and Discussion > Ubuntu

I have download the Android installer ( gnu-tar, , zImage.bin ).
I Have put the installer and the zubuntu-minimal-rootfs.tar.gz file rename to android-rootfs.tar.gz in SD Card.

I make :

Remove battery and power adapter cable
Wait for 5 seconds
Replace battery, close and lock battery cover
Attach power adapter cable
Keep OK button pressed while pressing on/off switch
From the Japanese menu, choose option 4 (Update), then 2 (SD) and finally Y

Then I answer Y for flash the Kernel and format the Microdrive.
The installer find the android-rootfs.tar.gz and gnu-tar ...

Then the Zaurus Reboot ... And the Kernel start with Kernel Panic ???

It takes about half an hour to extract to extract the root filesystem. If the installer reboots right after it has found gnu-tar and android-root.tar.gz, the filesystem isn't extracted at all. It may be that your gnu-tar is corrupted. Please re-download and try again. It should work!

I have to download the gnu-tar but nothing change.

The Program find the android-rootfs.tar.gz file and the gnu-tar but were can i find the install.cfg ??
