Hi ive installed zubuntu on my zaurus sl-c3200 it works fine but cannot get driver installed for the wifi card its a symbol spectrum 24 card it was supported in cacko but not currently in zubuntu can you download on a seperate pc running ubuntu 9.04v and transfer it with compact flash/sd card on to my zaurus tried this all ready but doesn`t seem tobe working what commands do i need to unzip it from my card im new to this but dont want to give up on this hurdle or would it be easier buying another card please let me know which card is best suited for zaurus running zubuntu.all the best andy!
i think an i386 module (home pc) won't work with an armel kernel (zaurus), also i don't know how to make an armel module to work on a different armel kernel for which it was designed to run

1) you could ask for that module (if it's missing) in - there's a new kernel released
2) if that cf card is known to work with debian for zaurus, you could use that kernel instead with the zubuntu rootfs
in the following post you can get an idea on how to merge zubuntu with debian kernel
Don't buy another card (yet). Symbol Spectrum24 Trilogy PCMCIA card support is included in the latest 2.6.30-rc4 kernel. Downloads are here. Copy the kernel into the /boot directory and extract the kernel modules as well.

Let me know if it works wink.gif
