Hello, folks. I have a new Z and wanted to make it more like a PC- so I can
still work on those damn airplane seats which are now too small to open a laptop!

Anyow, all Z alternate ROM downloads seem to be hosted on
community.zaurus.com. I cant get an http connect to this site no matter what
I do, though it can be pinged.

Research indicates former ISP for this site (UP Networks in SF) has been
bought out. I wrote new owners (Syntrio) asking if Z site would still be hosted.
No reply yet.

Anyone know anything about this?

the community site has been down a couple times this month. Spencer (who's the Sharp liason for the community and devnet sites) said earlier in the month that they would be moving the sites to a new location and that the sites *may* go down. Unfortunately he didn't give any specifics as to when.

Which model Z do you have? Have you checked out our ZUG downloads section? It does have the newest version of the tkcrom (2.0alpha3) which you'd probably like.

Well, that's the other problem. I have an SL-5600. None of the Kompany ROM downloads on ZUG refer to this model. Will the 5500 ROMs work?
