Hello,
I'm interested in buying the C860, but I would have a question about its USB port. I would like to know if it can be used as a standard USB port. Can we connect a USB keyboard to it? A USB printer? memory stick? PowerPoint projector?
Thank you!

No, you'll need to buy a CF USB Host card (about $130 at amazon)

So TCP IP over USB work on C860 (http://www.heavygravity.com/article.php/20040518022612319) but not USB peripherals. And USB peripherals work on 6000, right? What's different between their USB ports?
Thank you

All Zs bar the 6000 are USB clients, the 6000 can be either a client or a host.
TCP/IP over USB works for all Zs, but it's a host-client connection with the PC as the host.
I was wondering whether it'd be possible to make the client hardware provide at least some limited host capabilities, but I'm not that familiar with the USB spec and hardware. So it's on the backburner for now.

So it looks like the 6000 with a IR keyboard is more powerful and convenient than the C860 as a laptop replacement, am I right?
