Hello all, I try to install the USB driver to connect my SL-6000 to my Windows XP. But on the Sharp website I found only the driver for SL-5500. Does some body sucessed to install this driver or now where I can find the right one?

I'm in the same boat. I don't have my 6000l driver software with me and need to find one to download (from somewhere). If I can't find it online, I"ll post the driver file to the ZUG downloads when I get home.

Google search isn't turning up much.

If you find the driver online, would you post a link to it here?

Sharp has posted a copy of the installation CD for the 6000, however, it is not on MyZaurus.com. It's on Sharp's site:

its still 5500

I also have a SL-6000L and am in need of the Windows XP USB driver. The website link you posted does NOT work with the 6k only the 5500.

Here is the USB_driver all zipped up. I also have the whole CD Zipped, but it is a 40 MB file. Need to find where to upload it to.

I never realized that the Sharp webpage link was to wrong model Zaurus til now.

I just remembered, periodontist has this file (the whole SL-6000L Install CD) hosted on his site:

EDIT: I guess periodontist has moved on, cause that link is down. I will look around for another place to upload the 6000L install CD.

SDG systems have various useful files available for download. Here is a link:6000 files for dowload.

I have just clicked on the link and it took me to the download section. The first file listed is 20040217CDROM.zip..... I'm sure that I have posted this before in the forums.

I will admit that the Sharp site mentioned earlier in the thread is confusing, it has certainly confused me in the past , but if you explore at random the 6000 files are there also.
