Would anyone know where I can find lirc for the 'theKompany' rom, version 1.5? I think its running kernel 2.4.18-something-something, from memory. I found lirc compiled for a slightly different kernel, but it seems to fail to work.

I'm trying to use 'remote' to run a friends DVD player, as their remote has been lost, and some DVD's can no longer play, not to mention any special features etc.

Thank you,

For your information, Lirc need to have a file containing the remote configuration, it can't learn without the remote. So, if you did not record it before or if it is not available on lirc.org, a working lirc will be useless...

(a thread with all the files and a tutorial by myself. However, it is in French .
I use Lirc and the GUI remote everyday with my Cacko 1.21 and it works very well. Good luck !
