Just flashed the new 3.5.2 GPE ROM on a SL5000D using the 24-8 zImage. Found all of the same problems I reported previously on the 3.5.1. Could it be that 28MB is not enough RAM to run it? I am kind of losing hope that I will ever use this ROM. It will take a lot of positive reports here for me to flash it again. Sorry, guys.

I just flashed the 3.5.2 GPE image on my 5000D and it worked beautifully, although I still prefer OPIE. Unfortunately my build machine is down a the moment, otherwise I would have built it myself.

Can you do a couple of tests for me?
Does rosetta work?
Does vi from the terminal behave strangely when you move about the file?
Does ipkg install /mnt/cf/whatever.ipk work without a glitch? (OK, that's three)
