"Secret" Key Combinations

These button combinations are meant for advanced users, do not fiddle with this unless you know what you are doing. Choosing the wrong options may turn your hi-tech Zaurus into a low-tech doorstop.

POWER + OK
Pressing both the POWER and OK button at the same time will let you enter the Maintenance Menu (Service Menu).
Confirmed to be working on: SL-6000, SL-C860
Confirmed to be working on: SL-C3000, SL-C3100 but you have to remove the battery for a few seconds before.

POWER + M + D
Pressing POWER, M and D at the same time will let you enter the Diagnostics Menu.
Confirmed to be working on: SL-6000

Remove battery and all other power supplies, press M and D at the same time (keep pressed untill Diagnostics Menu is shown). Replace battery, close battery lid and switch. Power on.
Confirmed to be working on: SL-C860, SL-C3000, SL-C3100

POWER + M + B
Pressing POWER, M and B at the same time will let you enter the Linux rescue.
Remove battery and all other power supplies, press M and D at the same time (keep pressed untill Diagnostics Menu is shown). Replace battery, close battery lid and switch. Power on.
Confirmed to be working on: SL-C860, SL-C3000, SL-C3100

Fn + D + P + RESET
Hold down Fn, D and P and ticking the RESET switch will let you enter the Diagnostics Menu. This is a backup in case the above method doesn't work.
Confirmed to be working on: SL-6000

Q + T + RESET
Hold down Q and T and ticking the RESET switch will flash your Zaurus without prompting you for confirmation. Both the Charge and Mail LEDs will light up while flashing, the flashing has completed when they both turn off. This does not work with *.DBK NAND backup files, you will need the appropiate update images and scripts.
Confirmed to be working on: SL-6000

A + B + RESET
Hold down A and B and ticking the RESET switch will make a complete NAND backup of your Zaurus. You will not be prompted about anything, keep an eye on the Charge and Mail LEDs to know when the backup has finished writing. A *.DBK will be written to the SD or CF card. The SD or CF Card has to be formatted in FAT16, otherwise it will not be recognized.
