[For Newbies: Download this .ipk package. Then select the menu for Settings --> Add/Remove Software --> then pick qkonsole]

If you do much command line work, you may want to consider installing a terminal program with many more features.

QKonsole is an excellent tool. It provides multiple terminal windows and several convenience features.

Once installed, execute QKonsole.

Create a 2nd Terminal: Click on the terminal/shell icon to create a second window. Switch between 2 Terminals: Press the [1] and [2] at the bottom of the page. Switch to Full Screen Mode: Press the icon with arrows pointing in 4 directions. To return from Full Screen to Normal Mode: Press the top/center of the screen.

There's even a little clipboard where you can cut and paste text from one terminal to the other or previous command lines.
