| + | Actually Meyer has jumped in and moved a lot of the chit-chat to Current events and done some tidying up of what is left. I suspect that what you want to do will fit easily into what Meyer has done.-[[User:Tux|Tux]] 17:03, 2 November 2007 (EDT) | ||

Thanks for adding a profile to your user page, and thanks for your work on the OESF Wiki. -- Meyer (talk) 21:56, 1 October 2007 (EDT)

Hi Koan, you seem to get caught by the wiki logging you out in the middle too! I assume this is your IP 130.54.130.229?--Tux 05:04, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
Hi again, this new page about converting to English, there are some pages that try to do this already. I'll put the link to a very detailed page in the discussion page for your new page. It is probably sensible, though a bit tedious, to look at [Special Pages] or [Allpages] when thinking about putting up a new page.-Tux 05:23, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
Redirect
- Not to worry! it actually taught me how to do some things I've needed to be able to do! Tried to put something about that here, twice, but I think my dns setup decided to play me up. So your message got to me before I could get to you!-Tux 06:37, 12 October 2007 (EDT)
Edit/Undo/Rollback
It's even easier to use rollback, but sometimes it is helpful to use edit and leave a message. That way you can give a hint about what was the reason for the edit. For example revert spam, remove gibberish etc. Cheers-Tux 04:15, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
Proposed Wiki Layout
I think that's a lot of work to get it sorted out; the basic principle is 1. Zaurus, 2. Non-Zaurus (which means mostly software) and 3. Other projects. Koan 20:19, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
- I think you're proposed structure is good. Have you linked to all the existing pages? -- Meyer (talk) 11:14, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
- Not yet. I'm trying to link in to everything as best as I can, but some pages don't exist or have bad scope (i.e. 5500 only when could easily apply to all Zaurus). It's a massive effort to make everything coherent but we've got to start somewhere. Koan 20:31, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
Main Page Protection
I have altered the protection on the main page. You have to be logged in to edit though! Be cautious and put an explanation on the main page discussion/talk page.-Tux 13:01, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
