- vi - comes with the Zaurus
- VIM - Vi IMproved
- Pico - A more user-friendly editor
- Nano - Similar to Pico, but a little better/complex
- TinyKate - Nice free, graphical editor with syntax highlighting
- tkcEditor - Nice commercial, graphical editor with syntax highlighting
What applications can I use to view PDF files?
- Opera - comes with the Zaurus
- QPDF2 - much better than QPDF and Opera
- QPDF - the original port of xpdf
What applications can I use to store passwords and other secrets securely?
- Keyring

- IQNotes - can encrypt any note
- PortaBase - can encrypt its databases
