What applications can I use to edit any text file?

• vi - comes with the Zaurus
• VIM - Vi IMproved
• Pico - A more user-friendly editor
• Nano - Similar to Pico, but a little better/complex
• TinyKate - Nice free, graphical editor with syntax highlighting
• tkcEditor - Nice commercial, graphical editor with syntax highlighting

What applications can I use to view PDF files?

• Opera - comes with the Zaurus
• QPDF2 - much better than QPDF and Opera
• QPDF - the original port of xpdf

What applications can I use to store passwords and other secrets securely?

• PWM/PI (from KDEPIM/PI suite)
• Keyring
• SafeDee

• IQNotes - can encrypt any note
• PortaBase - can encrypt its databases
