Cacko 1.23 (nonbeta) For The C3000
« on: February 01, 2006, 01:07:21 pm »
I have been using Cacko 1.23b1 on my C-3000 with great success. I just noticed that 1.23 is out for C-1000 and C-3100.  Is there any word on the C-3000 version? Can I use the 3100 version?

Thanks

i'd say "not yet", if i read the release notes :

This ROM version wa smainly intended to support Zaurus models (C1000 and C3100). Later on it was decided to include
support for older models as well.
**Fujitsu U1010 !!!
**ex-Zaurus SL-C3000 owner with Debian kernel 2.6.24-yonggun

Are there any actual reasons to wish for a "final" version for the c3000?
I am using che cacko beta for the c3000 for a long while now.
Is there a major difference? any new libraries that should be updated manually? a new kernel?

Otherwise it seems I (and the rest of the c3000 owners) will have to stick to the cacko beta version forever.

I can think of 2 things off hand.  1) Japanese support.  2) Support for symbol wifi card.
