RC5 Browsers dont like me.
« on: October 08, 2004, 03:16:33 pm »
I'm having problems with minimo and dillo in RC5.

Minimo seems to be trying to lay everything out in one column.  I would bet this is just because its a new version of minimo.  I've googled a bit to try to find some documentation on how to change settings, but I can't find any documentation.  I'm hoping that the options arent all set at build time, cause I dont have a crosscompiler set up.

Dillo on the other hand seems to be stretching pages horizantally.  Google's home page is over 20 screens wide.

Firefox is fine, but a little slow for regular use.

Anyone have any ideas?

I had this same problem with Dillo (super wide screens) this weekend (not due to upgrade.. on RC3). Still not sure what caused the problem, but deleting the .dillo directory in my home and restarting dillo fixed the problem. Obviously it must have had something to do with the data stored there.

That seemed to fix dillo.  Thanks!

I think the problem starts when you change your browser settings.

Still no luck on minimo, though.

The problem with dillo is that it apparently has "wrong" default settings and when you save them it gets screwed... :-(
