The feed is located at

http://mail.pdaxrom.org/contrib/Chero
Just add to your Package Manager

you will need to manually download

xffm, Mnt Pluging, and Taskbar Plugin if you want there... those are the 3
*I know* that won't work from the package manager...

Installing XFCE is as easy as it gets...

1. Add the feed
2. Install Selected packages
** If using beta 3 go to beta 1 feed and get libiconv
3. Edit the xfce config file
4. Drop to console run startxfce4

I mean yes there are other points that I could have re hashed but there are all avaliable from
http://users.telenet.be/zaurususer/Chero/xfce4-rox-howto/

If you want rox...
1. Install rox package
2. open up console window in Xfce
3. Run "rox --pinboard=MYPINBOARD"

I notice that there is alot of documentation on Chero's how to.. but dont feel so overwhelmed... its not as hard as it looks....

PM me if you need anymore assistance... or Chero chime in at anytime...

i don't think it's difficult but there is different way to install it so i want the "best" way ...
and the up to date package !

now i have seen that xfce could be integrate in a version of pdaxrom .. great thing!!!

i just search for a desktop more reactive and less ugly than matchbox !!

thanks a lot!!

I  have another question : there is no package for ROX ?
it is integrate ine the xfce package?

perhaps i have misanderstood, for me xfce is a desktop like gnome and rox is a window manager like metacity ..
(yes i'm Debian user ...)

so in the tutorial of chero there is just a line for rox : # rox --pinboard=MYPINBOARD [enter]

and what do you suggest me to install relative to xfce? all package in chero feed?

tansk very much !!!!

Rox is its own WM.... as is XFCE... the problem with XFCE is there is no desktop to pin icons to.... aka PINBOARD... We use rox just for the pinboard...

it is in the pdaxrom feed...

not in cheros feed or a part of xfce....

I use systray, taskbar, battery, mntplugin, cpu graph, panelmenu, and menu pdaxrom...

that got me everything i needed... i posted a screenshot yesterdayin another thread... if i feel like it i will do another today....

give me a lil
