Zaurus - pdaXrom / Drivers Working But Anomaly With Ap

I am unable to get my previously working with all revisions of pdaxrom LInksys WCF12 card. I am trying to get onto my home access point with which it had worked before. Encryption is off, so i dont know what the prob could be. The DMESG output is below:

Guys,

I'm sorry to bug you again, but I've still had no success with this and I would very much appreciate any help from anyone who has this working, even some words of encouragement would be nice. For example if a single soul was to confirm that this is working for him/her I would continue to chip away. Thanks!

Socket Wifi CF 6004 REV B (fixed with above)

But when I load up my 6004 Rev B Socket Wifi card it is not detected properly. I am using RC8 without the additional patches that came out Dec 25th. Does one of those fix the problem for me? Please help. Thanks!

Security and Networking / Bluetooth DUN not working ... please help

Guys,

I need your help. I'm trying to do DUNthrough my treo 650 with a socket revision h. When i do pppdialer it says :

failed to open /dev/rfcomm0: no such device.

I am sure the bluetooth is working because when i run hciconfig i get information and a mac address for the card. Also, I was able to pair it with the treo from the treos end. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks!!!

p.s. although it is strange that when i do:

sdptool browse i only get the mac address i dont get more information like im supposed to, like the channel for example.

Guys,

I know it listed as fixed for RC8, but it isn't working for me. That is revision B of Socket 6004 card.

I added the following entry in /etc/pcmcia/spectrum.com:

Now it appears like its tyring to work and dmesg spits out the following:

The seed is 7 characters long but the WEP key that is generated is a 26 character hex.

Foxdie,

I got it working with a 64 bit WEP key but it still doesn't want to go with 128. Odd.......

UPDATE: I got it working with 128bit by reducing the seed keyword to 7 characters. I don't know how this would make a difference but apparently it did. Anyone have any idea as to how i turn on the power save mode for wifi. This thing eats batteries like crazy.

I too am having troulbe with getting my wifi to work using WEP. I have a Linksys WC12 card and rc8 with the latest upgrades. Still, no matter what i try i can not connect to my AP using WEP key. I had RC5 earlier in the day and it was working just fine. Any ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks!!!

I've been trying to use XPDF but it is the absolutly slowest PDF viewer ever. Not really usable as far as I can tell. The pdf viewer for Qtopia was sooooo nice. Is there anyway to get it going on Cacko? Thanks!
