SL-C860 Doesn't detect CF card

I'm trying to flash a ROM to english. I have followed all steps but get "CF card not found" Card is formatted FAT16. Could anyone help guide to switch from Japanese to English please?

Follow the steps under "Backup for download" in case your 860 has already a japanese stock ROM installed. In case it has a different one, then do a NAND restore (chapter "In case a backup won't work").

I have deleted the other post since it was a duplicate of this one.
