Quake Cheats
« on: January 21, 2007, 05:51:23 am »
Anyone know how to use the documented cheats I found here
http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Quake-HOWTO-2.html#ss2.3
on the quake engine that comes with pdaXrom ?

The "~" apparently does not work on the engine used on pdaXrom ... I wonder if there is some command line option I must use to activate them ?
Regards

I wonder if you could
-start quake with a the cheat in a command line switch?
-remap the "~" key

One could try for sure ... but according to what I read those cheat keys should be passed once the game is started.
And I don't think it makes sense to remap "~" to something else if you need to use it (apparently it's not mapped to anything right now).
