3.5.4.1-rc2 released[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=125347\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]
The C7x0 branch is also the one for the C8x0's as well, correct?
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=125389\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]

Yes, all pxa25x clamshells (7xx, 8xx) use the c7x0 images, all microdrive models (3xxx series) the 'spitz' images and akita (c1000) the akita image.

Installed it yesterday.

First impressions are good, suspend/resume works (except once when coming out of suspend my Z hanged).

For no reason whatsoever, keyboard input stopped working and I had to reboot.

A couple of segfaults here and there.

Will post more later.

If a bug doesn't fall into the hands of a developer, does it exist?

Sorry.. I couldn't resist the whole tree in the forest thing.
No offence intended.

I've expereneced these bugs too under RC1.
Have these two issues been reported in bugtracker? If not I would be happy too.

Bugtracker reminds me from time to time that there are bugs to fix. When I go into bugzilla I see what is needed to be fixed and can select something.

Forums are not bugtrackers - I read >100 threads per day and cannot remember which ones was about bugs.

I just cannot understand where we are...I mean

http://ewi546.ewi.utwente.nl/tmp/viewmtn/b...embedded.oz354x

should be the actual stage. How/when are the changes implemented?

About bugs-reporting: I find the oe bugtrackers rather ugly.

1) how do I search for the 3.5.4.1 bugs? I'm using "3.5.4.1" as string in http://bugs.treke.net/
Are the bugs marked as resolved when done? I see very old bugs "open"...

2)http://handhelds.org/~bugzilla/
Here is a ton of old/new/open/closed bugs... some of them should have been moved to OE being kernel stuff and not GPE....
Most of them should now have been solved (bluetooth suspend scripts, ipaq-sleep->bl not working).

Sorry, but I'm very confused now... I have very little time to help debugging and I won't waste it.

Thank you for your great work.

Ant

P.S.
My last rant: please look at the bootlogs / syslogs. There are nasty problems with /dev permissions...in ALL beta/rc images

My syslog and kmesg is spammed by a not-so-perfect flash driver on Akita, care to upload an example?

Flashed yestarday evening rc-4 on my C-860, the GPE flavour.
The log messages in "system_info" are again there...

I'll post this evening the logs.

Ant

P.S.
Strange enough, there is a visible screen-flickering! It appears immediatly, on the penguin of the first boot, and remains on the topmost part of the screen in GPE.

Only on my Zaurus ? Nobody ?
