C3100/C1000 new test rom:

http://212.10.30.205/rc10/sashz/test/kathrin-rc11-akita.zip

After installing mplayer from the feed for rc10, mplayer wouldn't start because it was looking for libstdc++.so.5 instead of libstdc++.so.6 which is initially installed by default. So I uninstalled libstdc++ and reinstalled it from the feed and mplayer loaded fine. Then the package manager didn't want to open.

I exited X, I wasn't able to startx again because of a fatal server error that refuses to load X, so I rebooted from the console by typing reboot. I got:
Warning: unable to open an initial console
python: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6     (of course since I uninstalled it in order to run mplayer)

I logged as root, typing startx, I get:

Loading /etc/sysconfig/keyboard/kernel.map

Imageon_iniScreen()
: Bad file descriptor

Fatal server error:
no screens found
XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server ":0 .0"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

I guess all these problems come from the fact that I uninstalled libstdc++.
I like the speed improvements very much. I repartitioned root to 121mb.

I installed the latest test room on C1000.
I used ROX to access /home/root from / and received this error message:

Code: [Select]
Mounting /home
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/mtdblock3,
Â      or too many mounted file systems
Â      (could this be the IDE device where you in fact use
Â      ide-scsi so that sr0 or sda or so is needed?)
Mount failed

Done
There was one error.

Does it really mean the system fails to mount /home?  But it seems to me things are still going fine.

Any thoughts?  Thanks!

That's clear.  Thanks, sashz!

Yet another small issue:
The task applet is missing in matchbox in the latest test ROM.  After installing mb-applet-tasks_1.0.0_armv5tel.ipk from the unstable feed, the task applet still does not show up on the menu when tapping on the panel.
It would be nice if task applet is included in matchbox again.
[UPDATE: After reboot task applet does show up in the menu when tapping on the panel, but it doesn't go to the panel even though it is chosen.]

Also still having problems with USB mouse, namely inverted screen in landscape mode, and lockup in Package manager.

Already donated.  Do keep up this wonderful project!
