Anybody have one of these:

If so - do you like it?  What are the interior measurements? i.e. would the 6k at 6.5\" long fit?

I don\'t have one of these, and I haven\'t actually compared the measurements, but I do know that the 6000 is significantly larger than the 5x00.  I doubt the 6000 would fit, but who knows... I could be totally wrong!

I\'ve got one of this for my SL5600. it\'s great you can drop it in your bag and don\'t worry about damaging your Z...

That\'s exactly what I\'m looking for.  Would you mind measuring the interior dimensions?  I checked the 6k and it\'s about 6.5 inches long and 3.5 wide.

Thanks!

Sorry, don\'t have the appropriate measuring device to hand - but its a snug fit for a 5500.  There\'s no velcro or any other thing to hold it in.....

Here\'s a pic of my 5500 in the case:

That looks like the \"suit\" model.  I figure that it won\'t fit the 6k as it was designed for your 5500.  I\'ve actually been eyeing the \"gadget case\" version.  It apears more bulky but seems to be intended to carry all of your sundry items including the charger - which is really what I need anyway.

Nice up close pic of the quality though!

I am hoping I can fidn someone to import from japan.  Looking on the spacetown website I can see a few that might work for the 6000.  The one for the E1/L1 and the E21 should work.

Though most likely I will end up making my own case/holster though I like some of the idea they are using.

Though would you also put the Z in there...from what I see on that spacetown website it si only for the accesseries...though it some ways I would not mind having that for my accesseries...Then have a holster that I keep the 6000 in so that it is only me.  much smaller then carrying my computer bag...though would my Targus IR keyboard fit in the gadget case(3 3/4\")...

If you are referring to the silver thing, it\'s the headphone remote. For C series only though AFAIK.  Mine is currently en route from Japan.

Hope this is what you meant.

Oops, should have looked closer!  Yes, its a great case, though the metal is painted and its lost some paint on the raised parts of the embossed \"Zaurus\".  Doesn\'t bother me enough to warrant touching it up with some matt black paint....

If there\'s anyone in the UK, I\'ve just bought a Gameboy \'Tournament\' case, it fits a 5x00 perfectly, and my 860. Cost 97p, yes a staggering 97p in the bargain bin at Dixons. They are clearing the stock all over IF you can find them. It\'s soft and padded, protects the Z perfectly - even has a neck band for when I\'m out and about cycling, listening to music. Even better if you don\'t want a moo cow wrapped around your Z, I find leather causes wear against silver finishes over time. If I ever get the fekkin camera to work I\'ll post a pic. Perfect for my needs, showed it to a another Zaurite who is hunting for one right now...

Yes, I have one. I bought it together with a body suit for my C760. I love the body suit - it\'s so good, I\'ve never even used my gadget case.

The internal dimensions of the gadget case are 16cm long by 9cm wide (6.3\" by 3.5\"). The external dimensions are 17.5cm by 10cm by 4cm.

I think there would be enough give in the soft leather side panels to fit a 6.5\" long 6k.

The construction and quality of the case is outstanding - which I guess is why they\'re so expensive! The zaurus logo embossed onto the metal is a very nice touch.

If anyone is interested in buying my \"as new perfect condition\" leather and metal gadget case, I\'ll probably sell it cheap (I have the black one).
