TWRP in boot 2 partition ( empty_recovery_boot_2 )
« on: January 28, 2020, 12:01:44 pm »
Is there a possibility to install twrp in boot 2 partition ?
I know Planet provided a recovery boot with options to partition and  install new Operating Systems , like TWRP, Debian, Rooted android  ( from sd card).
Is there a twrp installer that I can  install from sd card ? Is there a possibility to install it on boot 2 partition ( empty_recovery_boot_2  )?
I saw here in this forum that Ninji provided a version of twrp ( https://www.oesf.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=35988 ) , but I don't know if I can install it on the boot 2 partition.
In this topic above Taupan said to not install it on boot2 or boot3 or any other partition.

From the explained below, Planet did this. ( But did not provide the installers yet )

Please see the photos in :  https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/he...y-t4010903/amp/
or this video from Planet :

I've already partioned my Cosmo : 60 GB android and 60 GB Linux ( Please keep in mind that this  will erase your previous android installation  )

Thank you so much !

I was talking about the android boot image, which must go in the first boot partition. I understand the confusion, because the thread is about twrp. I don't know where that should be flashed.

Ok. Thank you again for explaining this.
