XDA has released new photos of the unreleased Sony Ericsson VAIO smartphone which was under development in 2010, bearing a striking resemblance with the Astro:

The keyboard seems slightly odd with gaps, almost as if it could be removed and folded. I had a folding Palm keyboard a bit like that.
Gemini 4G/Wi-Fi owner, formerly zaurus C3100 and 860 owner; also owner of an HTC Doubleshot, a Zaurus-like phone.

Maybe the keyboard layout has been taken from one of a foldable keyboard to speed up development. At first I though they might be used for touch typists to recognize the keys, but then I saw the bumps on the F and J keys. BTW my Gemini doesn't have any bump on these keys, does the Cosmo have them?
