1. Installation instructions for Guylhem ROM for the Sharp Tosa SL-6000:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

   a. Deduce which ROM you want. syst0006.dbk-nogui is command-line only
(no GUI), while syst0006.dbk-QT-1.5 has Qtopia 1.5 included
   b. Rename the ROM to syst0006.dbk and put it on a Compact Flash card
   c. Open a console, type "sync ; reboot"
   d. When you see sharp logo at reboot, simultaneously press on D and M
button, then without releasing D and M, press reset on the back of your
Zaurus, then without releasing D and M, press power button
   e. You will be rebooting into "Diagnostic Mode". Press on right button
until you see "Nand Restore" then press down to hilight it, and press ok ok
   f. Go and take a coffee.
   g. When it's done it will say "Restore... OK" and the bottom bar will
be green - you can now reset.
   h. You will reboot in command line mode. Type "root" to log it.
Power will scroll up, Record will scroll down.
   i. Double press on Home will open a new login shell if needed. Userdef
and Light can be used to switch from one virtual console to another.

   Note:
If you did install the "nogui" version and want to add a frontend, do:

      rm /home/QtPalmtop /opt/Qtopia /opt/QtPalmtop
      cd /home
      ln -sf ../opt/QtPalmtop .
      cd /opt
      ln -sf QtPalmtop Qtopia
      ln -sf QtPalmtop.rom QtPalmtop
      tar zxvf /mnt/cf/QtPalmtop.rom.tar.gz

2. If you want to do that again at home
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

   a. Read tweaking-parts.txt, create-jffs2-initrd.sh
   b. create your own zImage1 and initrd1
   c. put them on a Compact Flash and use updater.sh

5. Helping
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Donations to paypal@externe.net are welcome if you like that ROM.

If you prefer donating Zaurus hardware, that's fine too. I'd be
especially happy if I could get a spare SL-6000 battery...

Technical help is welcome, especially to integrate Qtopia 2.1 to OpenEmbedded

If someone could find me a Toshiba 128Mb Nand chip TH58100FT or a Samsung
128Mb Nand chip K9K1G08U0M to replace the 64 Mb of flash by 128 Mb, I'm
   also **very** interested.
