Someone asked me how to make a German xmodmap file. Well, I wrote one myself, because I had experience with it before, when I wrote a Hungarian layout for myself. I don't think that other Hungarians are using pdaXrom (or even SL-Cxxx Zaurus PDAs), but I post my Hungarian xmodmap file too.
Instructions:
Place the file in the /etc/X11/kb/ folder,
backup the original corgi.xmodmap ($ mv corgi.xmodmap corgi.xmodmap_en) and
copy the one you downloaded ($ cp corgi.xmodmap_de corgi.xmodmap).
Use the "$ xmodmap /etc/X11/kb/corgi.xmodmap" command to change the layout immediately (it would be changed with the next startx otherwise)
"Changlog":
write o: with Fn+o and the Fn+Shift+o keys
write u: with Fn+p and the Fn+Shift+p keys
Changed ae and AE to umlaut a and A
Moved EuroSign from Fn+s to Fn+Shift+k
Added scharfes s to Fn+s

Only one attached file/post is possible, so here is the Hungarian one (with Hungarian comments and changelog inside).

Hello Zumi,
the download of the german keyboard file does not work. Could you please post it again?

Update: I am using pdaxrom Kathrin 0.9, you can get a working german keyboard using the package manager, package "mb-applet-keymap-germany".

Yes, they are both included in the stable feed now, so you can use the Package manager to download them.
But here are the links for the ipks:
