Let me start out by saying I’m not in anyway affiliated with Shirtpocket.
Just wanted to let you guys know I had the best service and best product for my zaurus for a long time - found here http://www.shirtpocket.co.uk/cat/product_i.../products_id/47 (http://www.shirtpocket.co.uk/cat/product_info.php/cPath/22_25/products_id/47) I was beginning to get a bit worried about different people writing about cracked/scratched screens so I went for the hunt for a screen protector - first I tried using transparents for presentations, thin plastic cd-covers and stuff like that - but the all had to be stuck under the edge of the screen and often f*cked up the touch screen. So I decided to go buy a proper solution - I looked at all the forums and read about the different ones - and stumbled across the one from Shirtpocket - it looked perfect and was the only one I was able to find that was made specially for the zaurus C7x0 and 8x0 series (made by a company called MIYAVIX,MIYAVIX.co.jp).
The protector fits the C7x0 and C8x0 series perfectly and it’s totally transparent - and still comes of easily - I just folded a piece of Dutch tape and touched the screen gently and it stuck and could be lifted of again (I got a piece of hair stuck under the protector and had to remove it very gently). It was little bit tricky installing, but the nice English instructions instead of the Japanese instructions are very good and did the trick nicely (the instructions can be found here: http://www.shirtpocket.co.uk/spforum/index...hp?showtopic=21 (http://www.shirtpocket.co.uk/spforum/index.php?showtopic=21) ) Btw. I didn\'t try the trick with the bathroom and steam.
Now my screen look nice and sharp as always and has a very thick (like 1.5 millimetres) and solid protection. The touch screen is just as good as without the protector in place. The only problem I had with the protector was the fact that when I unpacked it and took out the protector I couldn\'t find it after lying on the table - after I had detached the arrow indicator on the back. Btw. a little hint - don\'t do that, just peel/\"brake\" the arrow sticker down and the back attachment will follow, then attach the first part onto the zaurus screen (which is easiest if its in \"PDA mode\", the keyboard folded away) and gently continue to remove the back plastic and rubbing the protector on with a soft cloth.

I also have this one and while I\'m very happy with it, it was a pain to apply to the Z. I must have got it wrong at least 10 times before it was properly aligned - a very small angle wrong at the short side when you start means 0.5mm wrong at the other side, meaning you have to start over. And when you remove it, do it slowly, as it seems to basically suck dust to it otherwise.

I just got a replacement G2 screen protector, after some dust (or something) got under it... and after a while it scratched the screen (I know... I should have cleaned it immediately)... but anyways.. I\'ve heard horror stories of the G2 protectors permanently screwing up the digitizers... due to constant pressure or something.
It looks like I\'ll toss this G2 that I haven\'t installed and try out the one from shirtpocket
PS... maybe someone could write a review for these in the ZUG Reviews area?

Does anyone know if these are available in the US since Shirtpocket does not ship to the US?

maybe foxdie will help me smuggle them into the US?

Trying to sort out something for shipment to US etc. give us a few more days.
Problem is we can\'t risk accepting credit cards directly for US since we can\'t do the usual seacurity checks.
In the process of openng US Doller and Euro accounts, so can accept cheques.
Looking through small print etc. for PayPal, may be able to use that for smaller transactions.

I think this is the same protector that I got from conics.net when I purchased my c760.

If the one you bought from Conics is called Overlay Brilliant (Not to be confused with the cheaper Overlay Plus), then it is the same
By the way, once we do get the payment stuff setup. Non EU purchasers would be buying at the excluding VAT price.

I have added the above to the review sections.

A quick tip which is also stated in the manual, try to align the protector before remove the back of it and have the zaurus in PDA mode, thats closed with the screen pointing upwards.
When ready, take the protective film of slowly in the one end along the longest side. Then align it on the longest side, i did it towards the edge that connects the screen to the rest of the Zaurus and then rubbed it all on the screen along the border, so it was all perfectly aligned towards the screen edge - then i slowly peeled more and more of the backside protection off and gently rubbed it \"upwards\" and thereby queezing out any bubles and also making it possible to see any dust that got stuck durring this (and lifting it up again then. Btw. dust can easily taken of the procector with a piece off \"normal\", not to stroung paper tape. Just fold the tape and carefully touch the dust with it)
Although i have to admit that i have two and the one was lost in trying to get it to work, but that gave me a chance to try many different methods for aligning the screen perfectly. If you buy one maybe you can cut a piece of paper in the correct size and try to test how to perfectly align that.
