maybe pdaxrom is mature to get mame working.
It shouldn't be easy, but hope lasts...

I think xmame or SDL version should work... lemme get the source...

what about advmame?

which is more current? advmame tries to use sane auto-values, etc.

basically, my old 1.0.5 didn't have xrandr supporting 320x240 ...
now it does.  I am looking forward to playing pacman at usable speed.
at 640x480 -- it NEVER gets above 26% or so.

We (the pdaXrom) have just got a new top programmer who will be working on and off on the project - he will be compiling the xmame soon just to do some testing..

nice! It's a good quality index for distro developers no to be blind towards entertainment and enjoyable software  - if any proof was needed

I'm not changing my 860 with a 3000 just to live this hot development time
pdaxrom community is growing in number and quality
