Has anyone gotten boa to run under the hentges 3.5.2 rom? I'm using the collie 64-0 rom and boa just seems to die off without any errors. I getting a little desperate as I plan on using a web based lecture for class this thursday and run it off of my Z5500. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to have to flash with a different rom where I know boa works.

Looks like I am going to be flashing over OE3.5.2 tonight.

I have boa working on 3.5.2. I created a user named dino and created the directory /home/dino/www. I placed a file named index.html in this directory. I think the only other thing I did was edit the boa.conf file to use the "dino" login.

dino - Thanks. I've already reflashed with thekomany rom where boa installed and ran w/out a hitch. With 3.5.2 I insured that the www-data user and group exisited and that the doc root were owned by www-data and confirmed it was in the config file. But it still choked. I wonder if there is an issue with the "-" in the user/group name? When I flash back to 3.5.2 I will try what you said.

I have PHP and boa installed from the OZ feeds. I had to symlink the php executable to my /usr/lib/cgi-bin directory. In order to run a php script I have to append php to the link. For example, to run /cgi-bin/hello.php my link needs to point to
http://localhost/cgi-bin/ (http://localhost/cgi-bin/)php/hello.php
Unfortunatly this breaks a lot of code that uses location paths. I have not found a work around for this yet.
