Title: Is My Unit Quasi-japanese?
Post by: tcv on January 13, 2005, 09:45:15 pm
There's an awful lot of Japanese on my new C3000. Should this be so?

For instance, on the lower-left on all the screens in which you enter data, there is a set of Japanese characters. Until I turn that into a keyboard icon, all that I enter converts into Japanese characters.

Is something amiss? Or is this normal?

umm

Did you run mcconvert to convert from japanese to english?

If not the conics (http://downloads.conics.net/pda/zaurus-sl-c700/eng-inst/mcconvert-pics/index.html) site has a decent how-to.
