Title: Squid Cache Server For Cacko 1.22
Post by: stupkid on January 18, 2005, 01:45:29 pm
I have uploaded the squid cache server to the Cacko Feed at:

http://cacko.biz/cacko/feed (http://cacko.biz/cacko/feed)

It should give you a web browsing performance increase since none of the browsers included with Cacko do much caching.  You will need a non-FAT formatted media card to store the cache on and some post install configuration documented in the help file.

You can find some additional info on Squid here (http://www.squid-cache.org).

Please let me know how it goes for you.

Thanks!

Is there any way to run it with a FAT cache? Might be a lot handier for people with normally formatted cards.
