Title: Wireless Ess-id With A Space
Post by: AlexBeaudion on January 19, 2005, 10:12:33 am
Sorry to bother, the network config GUI does not seem to allow spaces in the ESS-ID.  I have a wireless at work with a space in the ID and I cant get on to it.

I've tried editing the /etc/pcmcia/wlan-ng.conf but it does not seem to actually _do_ anything.

Yes, you need to add the space manually to the stuff in /etc/pcmcia, but the file is wlan-ng.opts, not .conf.
