Title: Another Green Question
Post by: jipsom on January 21, 2005, 06:54:05 pm
Okay, I've installed the USB network driver as specified in the manual and XP says its all working wonderfully. So where is it?  I assume dit would show up as an external device but I can't find it anywhere.
Also, should the 3000 be set to PCLink or Storage? and should it be set to TCP/IP or I/O?
Many questions - thanks for any help.
R

You want PCLink and TCP/IP.

It should show up on the PC as a network card and also in the "remove device" icon that goes into your systray when you plug in a USB device.

If you want to have your Zaurus as an external device, you should setup Zaurus as the "Storage". Zaurus is automaticaly (I have no Windows but I hope so) mounted as an USB disk like digital cameras etc. PCLink is for ethernet via USB. Ethernet via USB is better, because you can work on connected Zaurus, but it is not so easy (on my Linux box).
