EDIT: Cool. The wavelan part is an Intersil Prism3 (ISL 3871IK18).

If the wireless-LAN is a module does that mean there may be a chance to buy a SL-6000d and add wireless lan to it?

I haven\'t seen such modules on sale separately.

But if you desire adding parts later, you *could* use an USB / CF WLAN module.

Looking at the pics, the wirless module is fitted via a socket, and not soldered on, which means that it should be fairly easy to retrofit. However even though the module appears to be \"off the shelf\", it may be difficult to obtain in small quantities.
