Title: Doom On A 6000
Post by: johnw on February 01, 2005, 11:33:14 pm
I've followed the instructions listed here, and I still get the PNAMES error even after replacing the WAD file with the original shareware WAD.  Anyone have any hints how I can get it running?  I have the Sharp 1.12 ROM on my 6000.  Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds familiar.  Can you paste the exact error and any dump you are getting?

I haven't had that prob. real helpful, huh?

I have been using the libsdl from the fastkernel thread. It works with sharp.
Don't know if that answers your question, but with my wads on sd and prboom installed and that lib sdl and the libsdl1.2.5's (net, mixer, etc)from the links at the doom site it goes fine.

I hope this is of some small use to you.
