Anyone know where to grab the gnome icons (or others) that rox wants in ~/.icons ?

simply install the ipkg in the feed (maybe in unstable feed, I cannot remember). You need both gnome icon theme and gnome mime types data packages.
Then right click in ROX, select Options, and change the theme

Actually, I suppose that works, but 90% of the icons are missing.  After doing some digging I was finally able to find some Rox themes in the "Other" section of this site:

Gorilla and Industrial are both there.

ROX icon themes are not in the "other" section, but in the "icons" one.

Done.  Keep in mind that it's a wiki, and you can edit it just the same....

In the same site I found the gorilla xpms to change window manager graphics. Any hint on how to change it? I'm googleing to find a way
